Job Description
Adecco Engineering & Techncial Recruitment is currently hiring a Field Service Technician (Medical Imaging Equipment) in the Kingston area, to work directly for our client. In this role, you will be under the responsibility of the Regional Service Manager, and be responsible for the maintenance, repair, calibration, and installation of medical imaging diagnostic systems to ensure exceptional operation and support for their customers.

Requirements - Field Service Technician (Medical Imaging Equipment)
  • Degree or diploma in biomedical engineering, electronics, or electromechanics, or in another relevant field of study.
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems, Windows operating system and networks would be an asset.
  • Modality experience required **some experince with X-RAY, CT, , or Nuclear Medicine** (either Radiographic, Radiographic / Fluoroscopic, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, knowledge of PACS terms, SIR, DICOM an asset.)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Experience in documenting all activities completed and supporting multi-vendor program performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent command of English both orally and in writing.
  • 1+ years of biomedical diagnostic imaging equipment, field service experience, preferably in a hospital / medical setting would be an asset.
  • Billingual French and English would be a large asset.
Responsibilities - Field Service Technician (Medical Imaging Equipment)
  • Complete documentation related to products, test reports, service records, etc.
  • Effectively manage time and assigned projects.
  • Support the policies, procedures and practices of our client
  • Travel to hospitals and clinics to carry out planned and unplanned service activities related to analog and digital radiography systems, mammography systems and computer-assisted radiology systems.
  • Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment installed in hospitals and clinics.
  • Meet the expectations of customers in terms of quality of service and communication.
  • Monitor and maintain an insurance plan for equipment safety and mandatory performance levels.
  • Provide field service support for commissioning, preventive maintenance, repairs, in a proactive and quality manner on diagnostic imaging equipment.
