- Interacts with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordination of shipping and receiving, and in the field, material audits to identify shortages
- Follows all company policies and procedures as listed, but not limited to: Warranty policies, Federal & Provincial safety standards, transportation of dangerous goods
- Provide support for maintaining calibration of tools
- Perform/support Preventative Maintenance routines, which would include completing reports and data analysis, which would identify key areas where the clients could improve their systems or are at risk based on the data collected
- Is directly responsible for company assets such as service vehicles, inventory, tools, laptops, and test equipment
- Maintains good communication with Field Supervisor
- Perform/support rectifier and inverter module swaps, and updating system inventories
- Maintains truck log, if necessary, according to provincial and or federal requirements
- Install data cabinets, cable tray infrastructure, including load bearing axillary systems, Fiber Optic Raceways, Grounding and alarm connections
- Completes and submits reports as required
- Contribute to company revenue and margin targets by supporting the execution of quality work within project timelines and budget
- Support Commissioning of DC power plants, inverters, and battery conductance readings, testing of system and equipment alarms
- Support the installation of DC Power plants, BDFB’s, inverters, UPS, and DC Battery systems
- Maintains a safe, orderly, and clean working environment
- Travel when required to perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Able to perform math calculations and measurements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Required to complete RP101, RP201, or Systems equivalent
- Able to identify changes in scope,
- Requires 2+ years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of our client’s and industry standards such as IEEE & Telcordia
- Able to travel to support in-field operations
- Ability to identify and find solutions for complex problems
- Able to comprehend and compose documents such as customer correspondences, technical manuals, memos, and reports in English and/or French
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Teams
- Thorough understanding of, and adherence to, safety policies and procedure
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Able to work and demonstrate safe work procedures with hand and power tools
- A strong understanding of company procedures and policies
- The ability to use test equipment and interpret the collected reading/data
- Advanced electrical understanding being able to identify and mitigate risks related to electrical circuits
- The ability to read electrical and construction schematics
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma
