Role Overview: Exploration Geologist

The Exploration Geologist will work under the direction of Vice-President, Exploration & Development as part of our dynamic Exploration team in the Thompson Nickel Belt Manitoba.

What we are looking for:

·A minimum bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science or Geological Engineering and either a trainee (stagiaire) or full member of a provincial Professional Geoscientist or Engineering Association.

·Manitoba-based is preferred but not mandatory

·Previous experience core logging, familiarity managing diamond drilling programs, creating maps and sections, report writing.

• Work schedule minimum of 15/13 (travelling includes in the 15 days of work).

Responsibilities.

·Conduct a variety of core logging activities including data entry, geotechnical work, sampling, creating maps and cross-sections.

·Compilation, interpretation and evaluation of a variety of geological, geophysical, and geochemical datasets.

·Report writing and historic exploration assessment.

·Carrying out logistical field activities, including drill program management.

·A commitment to safety, environment, and community.

·Willingness and ability to carry out a variety of assigned tasks.
