How You Will Make An Impact

• At the end of the event, clean up the bar area; pack all beer and wines back into the appropriate boxes.
• Help unload the GG vehicle and set up the bar area and all appropriate glassware.
• Review the event worksheet before arriving at the event--be knowledgeable about the event you are working, timeline, bar type, food, etc.
• Check in with the Event Captain or Co-Captain when you arrive to the event and when you leave.
• Verify that all guests that are served alcohol are of the legal drinking age.
• If the event has a cash bar, take payments for drinks (cash or credit, using the Square app).
• Assist with the general breakdown of the event. Ensure no food, plates, beverages, or other debris remain behind and that rentals are neatly stacked in the appropriate location.
• During the event, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests, answer questions about drink ingredients and making suggestions for different types of beverages and cocktails.

What You Bring To The Table

• Previous banquet or catering experience a plus
• Able to follow directions and work independently
• 1-2 years of bartending experience
• Effective verbal communication skills

The Good Stuff

• $18-20/hr + gratuities
• Part-time employees who work at least 1,000 hours a year are eligible for 401k matching after the first year
