**Job Title: Ontario Certified Teacher - Content Developer for OSSLT (Contract)**

Litguide is a cutting-edge digital learning platform, available as a website and an app, designed to help students successfully pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). We proudly partner with several school boards across Ontario, offering engaging, comprehensive, and curriculum-aligned educational support. Our goal is to foster a love for learning and promote academic success among our users.
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves assisting in content development for the OSSLT, utilizing a strong understanding of the Ontario curriculum and a passion for English education.
**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with our team to develop engaging and innovative content for the OSSLT.
- Review and update existing materials to ensure alignment with current curriculum and testing standards.
- Create a variety of resources, including lesson plans, practice questions, and study guides.
- Ensure all developed content is pedagogically sound and meets the highest standards of educational quality.
- Offer expert insight into the Ontario Secondary School English curriculum and contribute to the continual improvement of our resources.
- Actively participate in content review meetings and collaborate closely with other team members.
**Requirements:**
- You are an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience in an English classroom in Ontario.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the OSSLT and the Ontario English curriculum.
- Experience in curriculum development or educational content creation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech-savvy, comfortable working with digital learning platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- A passion for education and a drive to make a difference in learners' lives.
**Contract Details:**
- This is a contract position. The duration of the contract and hours per week will be discussed with the successful candidate.
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
