Leahurst College is a co-educational day school located in Kingston, ON, Canada. We are dedicated to providing a personalized and dynamic learning experience for students in grades 5-12. Our program fosters academic excellence and innovation, and also promotes students’ potential and confidence.


Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an English Second Language (ESL) Teacher at Leahurst College in Kingston, ON. 4-6 hours per week.



Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum and standards for English as a Second Language is a plus
  • An TESOL or TEFL certification
  • English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) skills
  • Experience in designing lesson plans and creating engaging classroom activities
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Linguistics, or Education
