Engineering Manager (High Power)

THE CLIENT

With more than 60 years of experience as a custom Power Supply and EMI/EMC/RF Filter manufacturer, they are known for their ability to produce highly reliable and durable products for some of the most demanding industries and end markets.

Their solutions can be found in semiconductor equipment, life-saving heart assist devices, medical carts, surgical tools, ion and proton beam steering (magnet driving) oil and gas exploration equipment, in-flight aircraft entertainment systems, missile and radar systems, satellite communication systems, electric vehicle, irrigation systems, as well as test and measurement devices.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• Experience in designing microcontrollers to report and control power electronics
• Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience with at least 5 years of experience leading a team
• Experience troubleshooting EMC issues
• Extensive knowledge of components utilized in switch-mode power supply design
• Agency compliance (UL, CSA, VDE, CE) experience
• Knowledge of best design practices to comply with different EMC standards
• Leadership skills to drive projects to happen on time.
• Experience in designing products for testability and manufacturability
• High-frequency magnetic design experience
• Willing to relocate to New Jersey, USA
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics

Ideal candidates will have experience in identifying and navigating organizational changes, and a keen interest in international trends in engineering and leadership.

This position will report to the Director of Engineering and will manage a team of 8-10 Engineers.
