Electrical Foreperson

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is currently looking for an Electrical Foreman to work on a construction project within the Pickering Area. This is your chance to work with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies!

Qualifications

• Strong safety orientation.
• Must be a Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician with 10 years licenced experience.
• Instrumentation installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshooting of motor control systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Hold valid Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle.(Mileage paid if your commute is over 50kms from home)
• Comfortable with leading in a unionized environment
• MCC installation and commissioning.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manufacturer’s manuals.
• Full understanding of Canadian and Provincial Electrical codes and compliance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required (fluent English writing and communication skills)
• Retrofit of Clean Water and Wastewater Facilities.
• Rigid Conduit, Cable Tray, PVC Conduit Experience.
• Some computer skills preferred, Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam.
• Installations, troubleshooting / diagnosing issues, conducting repairs
• Motor Controls and modification of control systems.
• New Clean Water and Wastewater facilities.
• Most of our work is with in a 45 min drive from Mississauga.
• Able to provide leadership and mentorship to journeypersons and apprentices working under you.
