Electrical Engineering Manager Jobs

EFI Engineering is a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions across various industries.
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager and/or Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead our talented team of Sr. and Jr. Electrical Engineers, Technologists, and Technicians.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent client-facing communication abilities, and a solid understanding of electrical design principles.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Electrical Engineering team.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Sr. and Jr. Electrical Engineers, Technologists, and Technicians on complex projects.
- Lead electrical design efforts, including the development of schematics, layouts, and specifications for electrical systems.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, sales, and marketing, to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and timely project updates.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize team performance and project delivery.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices to ensure cutting-edge solutions are delivered to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of successful client-facing interactions.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles, standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PSpice, MATLAB, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- P.Eng, PE, or equivalent professional registration preferred.
