Position Summary

As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Specialist in our Corporate Information Systems (IS) group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing CBN’s next generation Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

What You Will Do

• Lead the configuration and tailoring of Dynamics D365 F& O ;
• Provide Dynamics end user support to technical and non-technical users;
• Assist with the integration of Dynamics for reporting (Power BI, Excel Power Pivot etc. ) ;
• Develop high level technical specifications for technical deliverables;
• Documenting features architected or developed;
• Support CBN staff in demo development as required; and
• Various other duties and responsibilities.
• Modifying or creating forms, reports, tables or custom logic ;
• Analyz e and understa nd business requirements and translat e those to deliverable customizations as necessary – with an emphasis on illuminating existing capabilities in F&O ;

Qualifications 

Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge/application of MS Dynamics 365 F&O development best practices
• E xperience with Agile principles / practices / methodologies and implementations
• Experience implementing MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain modules and sub-modules
• 5 + years of experience with full-life cycle implementation MS Dynamics (AX 2012 or 365 F&O ( on-premises and cloud)) and Power Platform
• Experience creating extensions to MS Dynamics 365 F&O using MS Visual Studio

Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with MS Azure products
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent organization/planning /time management skills
• Proficiency in the following programing languages: X++, C++, VB.NET
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written )
• Proficiency in Dynamics 365 F&O , MS Power Platform , and MS Visual Studio

Mandatory Requirements

• Ability to t ravel to some customer sites to install hardware and infrastructure Frequency: 1 week per quarter (Of course only when it’s safe!)
• Ability to attain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability security clearance
