Service Coordinator/Dispatcher

365 Industrial Solutions is a well-established custom fabrication and millwrighting company operating out of St George Ontario. We are hiring a talented, well organized service coordinator/dispatcher to join our growing team. If you are looking to become part of an engaging and inclusive team 365 ISI is the place for you. This is a multifaceted position that is responsible for the day-to-day dispatching of trades people, renting equipment, overseeing the operations of the tool crib, and corresponding with vendors to order consumables as well as negotiate the best prices.

To be successful in this role you will be extremely organized with the ability to multitask while making sound professional decisions. You will be able to communicate effectively both on the phone, email, and in person. You will have an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, outlook, word etc.). You will be available to answer after hours calls and text on the company provided cell phone from trades people and project managers. You will take pride in building strong relationships with both vendors and internal staff as this will be an essential part of this role.

Dispatcher/Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists our field crews with expediting procuring tools and equipment to site
  • Assist in coordinating job box lists for projects
  • Arranges transportation for pickup and returns with our suppliers and vendors
  • Assist in company reviews for all trades employees
  • And other duties as assigned
  • Proactively address problems and suggest solutions
  • Track and log maintenance on all fleet vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Receive and answer emergency calls related to dispatch & tools after hours
  • Assist in getting quotations for doing any required building maintenance and arranging maintenance is completed
  • Dispatch and schedule all manpower, tools and equipment to projects
  • Ensure that Millwrights have their required Safety Tickets
  • Ensure we are compliant with CVOR for trucks
  • Work closely with project managers for forecasting project schedules

Purchasing Responsibilities:

  • Verifies items received by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
  • Arranges shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating delivery requirements, and placing/expediting orders.
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Ensures we are getting best pricing for tools and equipment required.
  • Conduct inventory counts and ensure sufficient stock is maintained
  • And other duties as assigned
  • Keeps our costing sheets up to date and accurate for the entire year
