Job Summary

In this newly created role, the Director, Product Management, Emerging Products will leverage a successful track record of forward-thinking, product innovation that complements our existing, strong, Data Center Services products. You know when something is working, and you have the feedback loop in place to tell when something can be optimized. You have an iterative mindset and can anticipate customer and partner product innovations that keep us on the cutting edge of our industry. You can sense when the market is changing and will incubate ideas to determine right timing for product evolution.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Colocation.

Responsibilities

• Work with partners and joint solutions team to identify market needs and create new products to take to their customers
• Continuously gather feedback from partners and customers and empathize with their needs
• Customize APIs for Colocation services, custom billing model, pre-deploying of equipment to evolve the partner ecosystem
• Articulates vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a global, matrixed team
• Delve into market and competitive research to drive new investment opportunities
• Use your strong commercial skills to prioritize which initiatives are worthy of productizing
• Employ external listening mechanisms
• Develop and nurture relationships with engineering, product management, joint partner solutions, marketing, and sales to ensure successful execution of your product vision from idea to execution and all the way to the hands of partners and customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study; MBA is a plus
• Prior experience in enterprise technology sales or business development
• Experience with multiple GTM routes with partners
• Experience working with partners using multiple routes to market
• Strong user and stakeholder empathy
• Strong technical curiosity
• Sought out industry speaker/recognized authority across social media
• 10+ years of progressive experience in product management
• Working knowledge of data center colocation and how it plays a key role in a customer’s digital transformation
• Experience identifying/developing joint product development solutions/initiatives with partners
