Digital Journalist/Content Creator

Growth marketing agency looking for a digital journalist for BTC and BTB content creation. We are looking for a disciplined, driven, organized, creative, professional communications person to join our team. We would be willing to look at a full time candidate to work on staff or a freelancer on a part time basis depending on background and experience. ***CANDIDATE MUST BE A CANADIAN RESIDENT AND EDUCATED AT A CANADIAN INSTITUTION***

The right candidate will have:

• Experience or a passion for technology, finance, real estate, the economy, the jobs market etc.
• Experience working with social tagging
• An understanding of SEO
• ****Impeccable**** copy editing skills
• Be extremely proficient on MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• Have experience updating content in Wordpress
• A passion for social media and an above average understanding of key platforms
• Experience interviewing
• Have experience using tools like Grammerly

100% musts:

• Journalism or other related degree from a Canadian college and/or university
• Be able to write in Canadian and American English
• 5 years of experience creating content for businesses (commercial content)
• Have a home office / be able to work from home

Position

• Work from home
• Salary - $50k if full time, $30 per hour if freelance
• Could be full time, or part time if a freelancer
• Benefits – if full time
