Devops / Cloud Computing Instructor

1. About the Role:

As a DevOps / Cloud Computing Instructor at Custom Scholar, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive training programs focused on DevOps methodologies and cloud computing technologies. Your expertise will guide students through the principles of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Collaborating closely with the academic department, you'll ensure our curriculum reflects the latest industry standards and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

2. Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular office hours to offer personalized support and address students' queries and concerns.
• Participate in weekly instructor meetings to report on progress, learning objectives, and student engagement.
• Foster an interactive and engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and knowledge sharing.
• Provide hands-on instruction in setting up cloud environments, containerization, configuration management, and orchestration.
• Collaborate with the academic department to update curriculum content, integrating new tools and emerging cloud technologies.
• Guide students in understanding DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Design and deliver training programs in DevOps and Cloud Computing, covering essential concepts, tools, and practical implementations.
• Enforce program guidelines and expectations to ensure students' commitment, discipline, and progress throughout the training.

3. Your Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain discipline, focus, and high standards of commitment among students.
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Previous teaching, training, or mentorship experience in a technical capacity.
• Willingness to sign a one-year non-compete contract.
• Passion for DevOps and cloud computing, with a commitment to nurturing the next generation of skilled practitioners.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts clearly.
• At least 7 years of experience in DevOps practices, cloud computing technologies, and tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
