Detailer - Rec / Turf And Marine Equipment

We are adding a seasonal Detailer to join our Powersports Team! Expected term will be spring through to the summer months. This position provides critical support to our Recreational, Turf and Marine Sales department in the branch by managing the safe and proper loading and unloading of product and customer equipment. As well as managing the movement of equipment in the yard, washing and detailing equipment in advance of delivery or customer pickup, and providing superior customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and light repair work as requested.
• Maintaining a safe, organized work environment following the guidelines of workplace health and safety and Enns Brothers safety policies
• Thoroughly wash and detail Enns inventory to improve sale-ability.
• Supporting the retail sales process, including for example, setting up displays and performing housekeeping functions;
• Ensuring that the right items are brought to the turf and rec sales department at the right time and can be immediately located through the relevant inventory system;
• Be courteous to customers, assist with drop of and pick up of REC/TURF/MARINE products.
• Wash and detail customer-owned equipment in advance of delivery/pickup, touch up paint as needed and ensure an “Enns” decal is properly affixed.
• Undertake minor refurbishment and repair of equipment as needed.
• Assist with equipment set up as requested.

Required Skills

• Well-developed organization, time management and planning skills;
• A high level of attention to detail;
• Highly developed customer service skills;
• An ability to obtain a valid Forklift Operator's License (provided through in-house training);
• A basic mechanical aptitude;
• Meet position requirements of standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Experience with trailering including hooking up, backing up and towing;
• Knowledge of powersports and marine equipment considered an asset;
• 1-2 Years detailing experience preferred;
• Basic computer skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• A valid Class 5 Manitoba driver's license and clean driver's abstract;
• An ability to obtain a Motorcycle License;
