Power to Girls Foundation is a not-for-profit Organization that helps empower Afro-Diaspora Girls in the Greater Toronto Area and Abroad. We are dedicated to providing positive mentorship, community interaction and recreational activities that inspire self-confidence, build self-esteem,

friendships, nutritional health, and integrity in the hearts of all girls. The purpose of our foundation is to help young girls discover their individual

identity and creative gifts by developing qualities that will help them become leaders and contributing members of society. Power to Girls Foundation makes learning about life challenges a fun, informative and fulfilling experience for the girls involved.

Qualifications/requirements:

- Pursuing an education in a design-related field is a plus

- Experience working with Canva, adobe illustrate, etc

- Good listener and able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Attention to details

- Willing to commit 8 hours a week to P2G

Job duties:

- Support the Newsletter team in planning and executing monthly newsletters.

- Come up with thematic designs for monthly newsletters.

- Create flyers/ visuals upon request. Especially in peak seasons when promotional packages are needed

- Participate in weekly team meetings.

This is a virtual internship with the potential to include opportunities for some non-compulsory in-person meetings.

Compensation rate: $300 every two weeks
