Delivery Driver - Class 5 - Nanaimo

As a Trail Appliance Delivery Driver, you are an integral part of the journey in providing the best customer service from the point of sale to our customers’ homes. Trail Appliances Delivery Drivers are the best in the industry, and our customer satisfaction record shows! Happy customers equals happy days for our staff who work to deliver our unique range of products.

As a Delivery Driver, you will...

• Safely operate our 5-ton trucks (only requires a class 5 licence). Our trucks are fully automatic and most are less than 5 years old!
• Greet and explain the delivery process to each of our customers in a professional manner
• Work daily with a trained delivery partner (Who knows, could be the start of a new friendship.)
• Complete the required paperwork for each delivery (and we will even provide the pen!)
• Safely handle and install our unique range of products into our customers’ homes. This is heavy work, but hey, you essentially get paid to work out!

The experience we like to see…

• A strong appreciation for personal safety and that of others
• Must be available to work weekends (lighter traffic on these days – you’re welcome)
• Physical ability to consistently lift and move large and heavy items (Again, throw your gym membership away – you’ll be lifting refrigerators in no time)
• Experience operating 5 ton truck or other large vehicle is considered an asset
• Great people skills and an ability to wow our customers
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract
• A willingness to learn some new skills and product handling techniques (We will teach you how to install a washer and dryer – impress your friends and family)

Schedule

• 40 Hours a Week - Split Weeks- EVERY SUNDAY OFF
