Position Overview

Responsible for providing Technical Systems support and consultation to the City of Vaughan, including analyzing business requirements, designing or evaluating available automated corporate and business solutions, recommending selected alternatives, preparing development and implementation plans, and providing project management and associated report writing.

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience in application support, including liaising with internal clients and external consultants.
• Experience in the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the field of Management Information Systems including (2) years' of systems analysis and project management responsibilities.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or suitable equivalent.
• Proficiency in the use of general computer software, e.g. Windows 11, MS Office 365, SharePoint, project management application/software, etc.
• Knowledge of PMBOK/BABOK or PMP/IIBA designations would be an asset.

Experience with the following solutions and / or activities would be an asset:

• Windows 11, 10
• Office 365
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (includes managing updates of OS and third-party tools i.e. Java, Adobe, etc)
• Microsoft Intune
• Strategic Future Planning
• Usage Training
• Dashboards and Business Intelligence (PowerBI and SQL Reporting Services)
• Active Directory (on-prem and Azure hybrid)
• Powershell
• SharePoint Online
• Utilization Growth Planning
• Consulting on tool usage and best practices
• Microsoft Policy management
• Exchange Online
• Management and Maintenance of Solutions and Operating System Deployment
