Job Description
Heritage Park is seeking a Custodial & Events Support (Housekeeping) Worker to join the team.


Under direction from the Manager and Lead Hands, the Custodial & Events (Housekeeping) Worker cleans all designated buildings/exhibits and assists with physical set-ups for both catered events and special events.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for obtaining assigned keys at the beginning of scheduled shift, then locking the buildings upon completion of tasks and returning the keys to Security at the end of each shift;
  • Responsible for obtaining assigned radio, should one be required, and returning it at the end of shift;
  • Sets up and tears down for catered and special events as directed;
  • Cleans all designated buildings, exhibits and washrooms as directed;


Education and Experience:


  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license is an asset.
  • Completion of High School and 1-2 years related experience (or an equivalent combination);


Skills:


  • Good organizational skill is essential. Must be able to adapt quickly to new situations;
  • Must be people-oriented with strong customer service skills.


Hours of Work:


Varied scheduled hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a casual position but year-round.
