Courier Driver Jobs

We're looking for subcontractor/delivery drivers who love driving in Calgary! We require individuals with great knowledge of the city, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude with flexible scheduling.
As a subcontractor delivery driver, you'll receive delivery orders via a smartphone application. Using your own vehicle, you'll pick up and deliver orders across the city in a professional and timely manner. Although you'll be a subcontractor, you'll represent RG during business hours, so a friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills are essential.
At RG, we rely heavily on our current customers to spread the word about our services, so a positive customer service attitude is a must for this role.
Here are some key details about the position:
• Our hours of operation are 8am-5pm, primarily in the SE industrial areas (Foothills, Manchester, Blackfoot, Ogden), but we receive orders from all over Calgary and the surrounding area.
• You'll be paid on a commission-per-order basis and receive payment twice a month.
• Our drivers currently earn anywhere from $150 to $600.
• We offer both full-time and part-time employment.
We're looking for a candidate who:
• Owns a reliable vehicle, preferably a cargo van or something spacious, though smaller cars will work too (with slightly lower earning potential).
• Has a reliable and working iPhone or Android smartphone.
• Has a valid driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Has some sales or customer service experience.
• Is able to communicate with customers at a conversational level.
• Is willing to learn our system and adapt to changes.
• Is professional and presentable to clients and keeps a clean vehicle.
• Is able to work in extreme temperatures/climates.
• Is available to work overtime if needed.
• Takes pride in their work and is dedicated to their job.
Additional information:
• The driver must own and operate their own vehicle.
• The driver must pay for their own insurance and gas.
• There's a lot of earning potential for the right person. The more you do, the more you get paid.
