Position is open to Remote, near one of our office locations preferred.
LIBERTY offices are located in Irvine, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Oklahoma City, OK, Tampa, FL, or Uniondale, NY.
LIBERTY Dental Plan is seeking to add a Coordinator Case Management to our team! The Coordinator Case Management provides confidential, unbiased assistance to eligible LIBERTY Dental Plan enrollees of Medicaid in need of dental services who also have a co-morbidity of special health care needs.
What You Will Do
  • Assist in securing enrollee dental services.
  • Perform dental case turnaround time in accordance with access standards regardless of the communication route (e.g. HSP inquiry, workflow, email, facsimile, phone call, etc.).
  • Provide research and compose comprehensive written response to various inquiries.
  • Provide enrollee information on accessing the LIBERTY vehicles for complaints, appeals or grievance process.
  • Educate enrollees on their rights and responsibilities.
  • Assist other lines of business as directed and educated to perform.
  • Provide education pertaining to the LIBERTY Care Coordination Program.
  • Ensure enrollee cases and events are documented correctly in the Health Solutions Plus (HSP) database.
  • Work with and interface with entities outside of LIBERTY such as Dental Offices, Primary Dental Providers and their representatives, health plan care coordinators, home and community-based service representatives, transportation vendors, hospital representatives, Primary Care Physicians or their delegates, legal representatives, varying State Government Agencies, Foster Care and Community Based Service providers.
  • Inform enrollees of available covered dental benefits.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-divisions of LIBERTY such as and not limited to Member Services, Provider Relations, Claims, Grievances, Staff Dentists, Supervisors, Managers and Leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or determined appropriate.
  • Help to resolve enrollee conflicts and barriers to dental care.
  • Manage telephone calls and email inquiries not limited to, seeking dental services, dissatisfaction, and second opinions.
What You Will Need
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Critical thinking skills to appropriately resolve inquiries, escalated cases and orchestrate holistic care.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Bilingual with the ability to pass a Spanish dental terminology exam, preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a proprietary documentation database.
  • Minimum 1 year care coordination experience preferred.
  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
  • 2 Year/Associate degree or equivalent years of administrative experience.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 hourly exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
