Responsibilities
Reporting to the President, your duties and responsibilities will include;
Be the Architect of Financial Excellence: Develop and review policies and procedures to maintain accurate accounting information, ensuring we achieve our financial objectives.
Financial Growth Navigator: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to align departments with strategic growth plans, recommending automation and process enhancements.
Champion of Efficiency: Constantly explore new applications, update procedures, and evaluate system results to enhance program and service quality.
Financial Visionary: Provide insight and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth, translating them into actionable plans for our organization.
Financial Guardian: Oversee accounting functions such as A/R, A/P, payroll, and inventory, ensuring cash management and tax compliance.
Quality and Precision Advocate: Uphold high standards of professionalism, quality, accuracy, and efficiency in all department practices and processes.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table:
A Visionary Leader: A University or College Degree in Accounting or Business, paired with 10+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in a senior role.
Financial Expertise: Your CPA designation showcases your financial prowess and business acumen.
Innovator's Mindset: Your ability to think outside the box and implement change will drive continuous improvement.
Eco-Champion: Experience or knowledge in the Agriculture/Farming industry is a plus, demonstrating your commitment to sustainability.
Communication and Collaboration: Your exceptional communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and consultants.
Tech Guru: Your high-level technical skills ensure you can expertly navigate existing databases and recommend IT solutions for operational efficiency.
