Job Description

Horizon Search is seeking an innovative and dedicated Content Creation and Blogging Intern. If you are eager to learn, have exceptional writing abilities, and harbour a deep passion for content creation, this could be your perfect opportunity.


About the Role:

As a Content Creation and Blogging Intern, you will assist in crafting engaging blog posts derived from our podcast interviews, aligning them with episode themes, and adding value through detailed research. You will also collaborate closely with our team to ensure timely delivery of assignments, contribute creative ideas, and support our SEO strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in keyword research and implementing SEO strategies.
  • Show interest and ability in conducting research to add supporting information to blogs, including citations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of assignments (2-3 blogs per week).
  • Write, edit, and proofread blog posts derived from podcast interviews.
  • Contribute creative ideas for content and layout.
  • Collaborate with the team to align blog content with episode themes.


Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for writing and storytelling.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive pieces (1,500 - 2,500 words) with at least 2 references within a 5-8 hour timeframe.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
