We invite applications from Certified Respiratory Therapists with interest in a relief, part-time (0.82FTE) Community Respiratory Therapist opening.
Days of work are Tuesdays to Friday; 08:00 to 16:00 hours. An attractive remuneration package and excellent career prospects await the right candidate. What You Will Work On
The Community Respiratory Therapist works within the hospital and community to deliver respiratory therapy services and programs related to Community Respiratory Therapy, such as
How You Will Create Impact
Providing information, education, and/or home visits for patients and environment assessments for adult and pediatric patients with respiratory dysfunction. Assisting other Health Care Providers with the care planning, discharge planning, follow-up, and support of respiratory patients who are frequently admitted to hospital, who require complex care strategies, or who require oxygen. Providing information, care planning, family and caregiver training, and ongoing support of patients who require invasive or non-invasive home mechanical ventilation.

- The assessment, education, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with respiratory dysfunction;
- The use of respiratory equipment or special procedures.
