Job Title: Commissioning Manager
:
Brunel, a leading global workforce services provider in the LNG industry, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Commissioning Manager.
As the Commissioning Manager, you will be an integral part of the organization, responsible for overseeing all project commissioning activities. Your role is critical to ensuring a safe, successful, and timely start-up of an LNG export facility located in British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Ensure the establishment of adequate Commissioning support contracts to facilitate the efficient execution of commissioning activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Commissioning Manager of the EPC Contractor to ensure a seamless transition from construction to commissioning and start-up, with a focus on proper systemization.
- Oversee vendor training during the commissioning phase of the plant, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and readiness for operations.
- Set clear quality requirements during project completion activities, ensuring adherence to stringent standards for a successful start-up.
- Provide comprehensive Commissioning progress reports to Project and Plant Management, keeping all stakeholders informed of project status.
- Establish, document, and execute Commissioning performance test criteria and procedures, ensuring thorough testing to meet project requirements.
- Support the development of clear Commissioning and Start-up procedures, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work in collaboration with the Operations Manager to ensure timely recruitment and training of Plant Operations resources to be seconded into the Commissioning team.
- Lead and manage a team of Company commissioning staff, providing guidance and support in verifying construction completion and commissioning processes in fabrication and construction yards, as well as onsite at the project location.
Requirements:
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of plant operations and commissioning experience, including at least five years as a commissioning manager.
- LNG plant commissioning and startup experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.

- Possesses a valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel as required for project-related activities.
- The position is based in British Columbia, with travel to other locations as required.

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
