Job Description

Our client, a well-established stone & tile contracting company, is looking to hire an experienced Commercial & Residential Estimator. Strong communication skills are key as the successful candidate will be required to interact with general contractors and clients.


This is an ideal role for a commercial/residential estimator with a background in flooring or someone with experience working with marble/quartz**


Responsibilities:

  • Complete pricing requests for various suppliers, vendors, and sub-trades
  • Be present at Pre-bid Site meetings
  • Preparation of Tender Forms and Quotations
  • Establish working client relationships and make appearances at trade specific events
  • Provide details quantity takeoffs with project documentation organization
  • Read and interpret site measurements/specifications, blueprints, and drawings


Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years' experience gained within construction industry
  • Organized and task-efficient
  • Software technologies: PlanSwift, BlueBeam Revu/Adobe DC, MS Suite of Applications
  • Experience with commercial/residential flooring
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management or a related field


Schedule: Monday – Friday

Overtime: 1.5x for hours in excess of 44hrs/week
