Job Description

Tidell Consulting Group, a premier commercial business consulting firm, is in search of an experienced Commercial Loan Officer. We specialise in orchestrating small business loans and lines of credit. As a bridge between small businesses and their financial goals, we excel in providing expert consulting and loan facilitation services.


Role Overview:

As a Commercial Loan Officer, you'll be the backbone of our loan approval and submission process. From qualifying potential borrowers to managing the loan pipeline, your role will involve thorough financial analyses, document evaluation, and active collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. You'll build relationships with borrowers, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the loan lifecycle. This position requires a blend of analytical rigour, excellent communication, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and qualify loan applications.
  2. Collect and analyze financial documents.
  3. Package and submit loans to banks.
  4. Facilitate loan conditions with banks.
  5. Liaise with advisors, bankers, and loan officers.
  6. Efficiently manage the loan pipeline.
  7. Underwrite diverse mortgage product types.
  8. Assess multiple mortgage applications daily.
  9. Work collaboratively with underwriting teams.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  2. Experience in banking or financial services.
  3. In-depth knowledge of commercial loan products and Canadian financial documents.
  4. Strong analytical and communication skills.
  5. Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
