Job Description
Please note we don't have a facility in the Brampton area. Mandatory: Canadian Work Experience Description We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual for a new CNC Operator position in the Barrie area.The CNC Operator should be highly organized, have good knowledge about working with multiple types of materials, an understanding of various processes involved in machine milling including software tools and equipment. The operator must have a good understanding and ability to read blueprints to create the design, cutting metal and manipulating it to build the project while also preforming regular maintenance on their machines.Shop Assistant Responsibilities: Read and understand blueprint designsSet up machinery for productionRework metal to create the blueprint designMeasure and verify all calculations prior to setting up the machineryMaintain a clean and organized working environmentComplete routine maintenance of their machineryEnter all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath for a CNC Shop Assistant Requirements: High school diploma or GED.Prior experience in shop workAbility to read blueprintsPhysically fit and able to perform strenuous laborAvailable for full-time hoursDaily access to reliable transportationIn-depth knowledge of computer and information systemsStrong eye for detailExcellent organizational skillsIn-depth knowledge of metal machineryExcellent reporting and analytical skillsExcellent understanding of mechanics, and mathematicsAbility to interpret 3D drawings and orthographic projection To apply, please send us your "Talent Acquisition Specialist" resume in MS Word or PDF format
