Senior Cloud Engineer
HubSpoke is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer for our government client to provide strategic guidance, advice, expertise and technical assessments of cloud services, including stakeholder engagements in support of the organizations’ digitization.

Who you are
You are a highly skilled and motivated individual who is adept at deploying and optimizing cloud solutions, leveraging their technical expertise to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
What you will do
- Implement and maintaina scalable and resilient orchestration backend and service mesh architecture, leveragingyour proficiencywith tools such as Kubernetes.
- Lead client engagements and providesubject matter expertisein Cloud platform engineering, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
- Proactively monitorsystem performance and conduct routine maintenance activities to ensure high system availability. Resolve system failures swiftly and efficiently, minimizing the impact on business-critical operations.
- Work with clients in a multi-disciplined team structure, designing and implementing cloud solutions across a variety of vendors, primarily Azure.
Qualifications
- Experience with deploying Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Nice to have the following knowledge/training/certification:
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, automationusingAnsible, and/or Python is an asset.
- 10 years experience as a Technical Architect.
- Advanced Knowledge of configuration management technologies (i.e., Ansible), Infrastructure Automation Technologies (i.e., Terraform), Containerization and Cloud Orchestration Technologies (i.e., Kubernetes, Dockers), Windows/Linux and related services (i.e., Active Directory, DNS, MSSQL).
- 5+ years experience providing cloud solutions across a variety of vendors, primarily Azure.

- Must have a Federal Government Security clearance at the Secret II Level
