Clinical Nurse Stbbi Jobs

Person who assumes responsibility for a set of nursing care based on the bio-psycho-social needs of users or groups of people entrusted to him. It assesses the state of health, determines and ensures the implementation of the therapeutic nursing plan, the nursing care and treatment plan for users with complex health problems or various biopsycho-social dimensions. She initiates and provides nursing and medical care and treatment with the aim of maintaining health, restoring it and preventing illness. She can prescribe laboratory analyses, treatments, products, medications and dressings in the fields of wound care, public health and routine care according to the regulations in force. It designs, applies and evaluates care programs requiring advanced knowledge, targeting complex health problems or involving various bio-psycho-social dimensions. It participates in the development or adapts clinical tools and evaluation of the quality of care. She coordinates teamwork and exercises an advisory role with the care team and the interdisciplinary team. It identifies, for users, the needs and interventions requiring coordination of services in the establishment and between different establishments or community organizations. It ensures, where necessary, the coordination of these services. She ensures the orientation of new staff and participates in the training of interns. She supervises the teaching given to users, their relatives and groups of people in specific programs and collaborates in research.
Qualifications
Must have a bachelor's degree in nursing or a bachelor's degree with three (3) eligible certificates including at least two (2) recognized certificates in nursing
Complete INSPQ training “STBBI screening intervention – the nurse’s contribution” (training can be done after the start of the assignment)
Experience Required
Clinical experience relevant to STBBIs considered an asset.
Experience in a remote region considered an asset.
Essential Skills And Aptitudes
License to practice from the Order of Nurses of Quebec (OIIQ) in good standing.
Essential bilingualism (French and English). Knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.
Excellent communication skills in a teaching context
Ability to work within a multicultural work team
Respect for Inuit culture and traditions
Excellent facility for maintaining positive interpersonal relationships.
Driver's license required

Hourly rate from 27.08 to 47.98
Day shift 37.5hres/week
Furnished accommodation provided;
4 annual outings;
Maximum 16 weeks off per year;
Premium cargo : $98.09/week;
Isolation premium: $203.66 /week;
Retention Premium: $287.47 / week
Moving costs incurred by the employer;
