Job Description

Responsibilities


  • Maintain high customer satisfaction level restaurant operations by implementing policies and standard operating procedures and determining and implementing system improvements.
  • Accomplish restaurant objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling and disciplining management staff.
  • Work closely with restaurant managers, cooks, and front of house staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure the operations of the dining facility are running smoothly
  • Create menu dishes, order food supplies and equipment, review food and beverage purchases, and train other cooks
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
  • Oversees restaurant operations and the other cooks
  • Assessing the quality of delivered food supplies to ensure that it meets restaurant standards.
  • Provide consistent leadership and dedication to lead and manage the team.



Requirements


  • Minimum 2 years management experience in restaurant industry
  • Bachelor degree or above. No restrictions on specialization/major
  • Strong decision-making, communication and collaboration ability
  • Foodsafe certificate. Basic cooking skills
  • Performance-evaluation experience
  • Two references, one of it must from restaurant related industry
  • Diligent, innovative, consistent. With excellent problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
