(Can) Analyst, Marketplace Jobs

Position Summary...Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketplace Growth, the primary role of the Marketplace Analyst is to build dynamic, automated reports and dashboards that drive data driven decisions and insights for the Walmart Marketplace team to help deliver GMV growth. This position will work closely with internal teams and cross-functional partners. Possessing a true passion for continous improvement, this roles requires a deep understanding of database and reporting platforms, as well as strong business acumen to help strategically inform reporting needs of the business. A leader in understanding database elements and how they tie together to create a rich data ecosystem that can help the business make better and faster decisions.
What You'll Do...

• Measure business on lead and lag indicators, highlighting potential risks, and strategize potential solutions
• Partner with the Marketplace Campaign manager to build and automate campaign and deals effectiveness reports to improve return on Marketing investment
• Work with the Senior Director, Marketplace Growth to build robust strategies to drive GMV growth based on analytics, and report on their effectiveness
• Collect, analyze and synthesize complete information from disparate sources into a clear, compelling and actionable story
• Build Adobe Analytics dashboards while maintaining high data quality standards
• Build automated and Ad hoc BI reporting to help the business make quick, data driven decisions to drive GMV growth
• Weekly KPI reporting on critical business metrics such as traffic, views, item conversion, AOV etc.; build Adobe Analytics dashboards while maintaining high data quality standards
• Update and enhance existing Tableau/Qlik/Looker reports to meet the growing needs of the business

Qualifications

• Showcase the ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
• 3+ years experience in Data Analytics; Business degree a strong asset
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel (advanced lookups, pivot tables, macros)
• Knowledge of the OMNI retail landscape; Ecommerce experience strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau/Qlik/Looker
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and at times ambiguous environment
• Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe/Google Analytics
• Strong presentation, analytical and quantitative skills
• Experience with Salesforce and Seller Center an asset
