Position: Buyer Planner

They are offering a $65K to $80K base salary according to experience and full benefits, RRSP working in a dynamic and thriving organization! The following is a brief overview of the role: The Buyer Planner will work within the supply chain department to ensure proper planning of raw materials and finished goods to meet production and operational demands. Description of tasks:

  • Creating purchase orders
  • Supporting other departments in the supply chain and procurement process Qualifications:
  • At least two years of experience working with an ERP or MRP system
  • At least 3 to 5 years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment - absolute must
  • Approving vendor invoices and processing discrepancies
  • Following-up with suppliers
  • Bilingual with good basic written skills to communicate with international suppliers
  • Experience purchasing raw materials - a strong asset
  • Ensuring the appropriate raw materials and finished products supply to ensure sufficient materials and avoid stock shortages
  • Based on the analysis, submitting orders to be placed by production site to the supply manager
  • Analyzing the ERP systems suggestions
