On behalf of our banking client, Robert Half is searching for an Senior Manager of Business Solutions and an intermediate Application Specialist with 5+ years experience supporting applications within the financial industry.
These are fully remote positions across Canada with the successful candidate working in the CST time zone. Head office is located in Saskatoon and preference will be given to candidates who reside in the locality.
About The Role
The Application Specialist will be responsible for configuration, implementation, delivery and ongoing support for a number of applications within the Bank. This position will handle incoming support requests, work with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure resolution of requests as per agreed service levels and provide timely escalations when applicable. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
The Business Solutions Manager is responsible for supporting and implementing business applications. The Business Solution Manager works closely with all areas of the organization to understand the day-to-day operations and business needs and supports the organization in identifying ways to leverage technology to achieve business goals. This position combines managerial responsibilities with in-depth hands-on functional expertise and acts as the subject matter expert for common issues and concerns for business applications
Requirements
Qualifications Required

• Demonstrated experience implementing business applications
• You possess a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in financial services industry and five (5) years of experience in IT
• Acceptable criminal record and credit checks
• You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and are able to build professional business relationships in and outside the Bank
• A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Additional For The Manager Position

• Experience with report writing software (such as Crystal Reports)
• Three (3) years’ experience working in management
• Proven ability to lead multiple medium to large projects simultaneously, on time and within budget. PMP designation would be an asset.
• Seven (7) years’ experience supporting and implementing enterprise applications

Strong SQL query
Nice To Have

• Experience with digital banking system (preference of Member Direct/Forge)
• Experience with core banking systems (preference to Fiserv DNA)
