Leader Name: Director, Portfolio Enablement

As ATB's next Business Process Analyst with People Places & Spaces (PP&S), you will report to the Director, Portfolio Enablement and lead business analyst activities for a range of construction, system, technology and process related projects across the portfolio. You will work cross-functionally across the PP&S portfolio to manage the overall evolution, documentation and maintenance of our process architecture. You will proactively drive improvements by identifying issues with workflows and processes and leading resolution plans. This is one of three new roles on our Portfolio Enablement team that is evolving to provide governance, planning and project support holistically across PP&S's Portfolio of work. We are excited for your ability to systematically drive stability, engagement and efficiency through well designed and integrated processes.

PP&S is ATB's real estate and facilities business unit and leads: real estate strategy, workplace optimization & experience, spatial design, construction, project management, leasing & subleasing management, facilities management & maintenance, asset management, facility operations, occupational health & safety, and physical security. PP&S oversees ATB's 1.5 million square feet of space and the team is deeply connected to transforming banking through ATB's client facing locations, and leading the way with corporate workplace transformation, both of which bring ATB's mandate to life and make it possible for Albertans.

Business Process Analyst Accountabilities

  • Support the project benefit model, work with project leads to capture baseline, target and actuals for projects and connect the story and benefits back to the quarterly KPI dashboard.

  • Enable project teams through business analyst activities and expertise to ensure projects and workflows progress in a structured, organized and cohesive way in relation to objectives, impacts, stakeholders and requirements.
  • Utilize your expert technical writing skills to develop simple, smart and helpful training documentation, job aids, and educational campaigns to streamline end user experience.
  • Regularly support both project and operational teams by converting business requirements and unstructured processes into feasible solutions.
  • Accountable for process architecture across the portfolio, including training, documentation, enterprise integration and tool standards.
  • Uphold regulatory, compliance and legal controls within process design while driving for an elevated client and team member experience.
  • Prepare, contribute to and update project documentation such as business cases, project charters, process documentation, project scopes, plans and timelines.
