DESCRIPTION:

Founded in 2019 with headquarters in Montreal, QC, FemTherapeutics Inc. is a medical device company with a mission to personalize medicine for women. We have developed a data and intelligence platform that leverages AI, cloud software, and 3D printing to produce patient-specific gynecological prosthetics for the non-invasive treatment of pelvic health conditions. Our first product is indicated to manage the symptoms of Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Stress Urinary Incontinence.

As FemTherapeutics works towards market launch in early 2024, the team is currently looking for a motivated Business Associate that is keen to learn, grow and launch clinician/patient focused tech. We are looking for creative and detail-oriented individuals with a strong communications and marketing background, and a good understanding of business concepts.

This is an opportunity for a creative individual or entrepreneur to join a growing Montreal start-up working with cutting-edge technology to modernize treatments for women’s health. This is a hybrid role with a few days in-person at our offices in downtown Montreal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Play a key role in maintaining and updating Confluence, ensuring that project documentation, processes, and key information are organized and accessible to team members.
• Design and execute a robust marketing strategy, exploring an array of organic and paid marketing avenues, including PR, SEO, and social media to foster sustainable and scalable growth.
• Lead the development of impactful social media marketing materials, compelling product demos, and innovative marketing strategies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, marketing experts, and digital development partners.
• Provide essential support to the management team by efficiently managing day-to-day operations, including overseeing recruitment and hiring processes, active participation and note-taking in meetings, maintaining up-to-date project management documents, and delivering timely updates to external partners and collaborators.
• Take ownership of grant applications, from identification to proposal writing and successful execution, leveraging your research and writing skills to secure valuable funding opportunities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to write and communicate in French is mandatory
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills as well as creative problem-solving abilities
• Must have a Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain external relationships
• Experience previously working in the medical device/women's health industry is an asset
• Extensive experience working with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Powerpoint, Excel, Wordpress
