Business Analyst(Cots) Jobs

6 months contract with possibility of extension

Remote work with 2 days onsite

A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or a related discipline and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in information technology/ information management related work experience.

Demonstrated hands-on Business Systems Analyst experience, including requirement gathering and documentation, developing and managing requirement traceability matrix, technical solution, and design analysis, developing product backlog, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Demonstrated experience engaging business and technical subject matter experts to elicit requirements by leading the workshop/discovery sessions, applying critical thinking to identify business requirements and technical capabilities, effective documentation preparation and ability to clearly articulate business system requirements and desired outcomes in both predictive and adaptive project management approach.

Demonstrated experience in producing visual diagrams that clearly depict the relationship between business functions and develop the business process documents.

Demonstrated hands-on experience in interviewing by preparing and asking probing questions for the requirement gathering, performing current state and future state analysis for designing and developing the application in the large and complex enterprise level project delivery.

Demonstrated experience documenting business and application processes, diagramming the required process flows in the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application deployment in SaaS model.

Demonstrated experience in developing requirement traceability matrix, product backlog, user stories, wireframe/prototype, user acceptance criteria and oversee the user acceptance testing.

Demonstrated experience in performing business process analysis for complex business transformation initiatives in the multi-entity organization by managing stakeholders in cross functional environment to develop the use cases for application customization and develop the business process for the future state.

Demonstrated competency in interactive communication and effective collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders, prepare status report and presentation to showcase the produced deliverables.

Demonstrated experience working within a team environment where the candidate(s) was called on to perform tasks in a mixture of collaborative and autonomous modes.

Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association, such as PMI-PBA, IIBA-CBAP would be an asset.

Demonstrated experience working in the project for the client in public sector in Canada.

Demonstrated experience with at least one (1) cloud SaaS implementation with significant business transformation would be an asset.
