Bim Technician Jobs

• Develop 3D models for disciplines including and up to structural steel, concrete, masonry, earthwork, mechanical, piping, and topography.

• Provide means & methods of drawing support for field operations

• Create and maintain crane lift drawings and other models and drawings of topography, concrete and masonry reinforcing shop drawings, structural steel, piping, or others as needed.

• Work closely with estimating staff to generate model-based quantity surveys/estimates.

• Assists project team with developing project-specific BIM guidelines and execution plans.

• Establish the BIM project schedule, goals, and deliverables.

• Create presentation-quality 3D models from 2D drawings for proposals, preconstruction, and construction.

• Develop/review project 3D models and provide constructability reviews, clash detection, quantity takeoffs, coordination, and phasing analysis.

• Oversee the production, management, and auditing of 3D models in collaboration with subcontractors and design

• Assist in creating 4D Project schedules by using Revit, Navisworks and the project schedule to create 3D models of the construction sequence.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
