Position: Barista

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Job Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, brewing equipment, and dining area.
• Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately.
• Please provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all patrons.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation, as needed.
• Prepare and serve various hot and cold beverages with precision and consistency, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Engage with customers to understand their preferences, offer recommendations, and ensure their satisfaction with their orders.
• Uphold our commitment to quality by following standard recipes and brewing methods to deliver exceptional coffee experiences to our customers.

Requirements:

• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but optional. We value passion, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
• Must meet the legal requirements for working in Abbotsford, BC.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, including espresso-based beverages.
