As the Awake Night Housekeeper, you are responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents during the night through ensuring the building is safe and secure, as well as assist with general housekeeping duties. This may include being available to take and make emergency calls, including coordinating residents in the event of an emergency. Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements.

Qualifications And Experience

• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and problem solve
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors and operational partners
• Minimum one (1) year of residential/commercial cleaning is required
• Experience in an aging adults setting is an asset
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements
• Completion of Highschool Diploma is an asset
• Superior organizational skills
• Completion of CPR and First Aid is an asset

Conditions of Employment

• Clear Police Information Check
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• COVID-19 vaccination proof. This requirement may be waived if you have received an exemption through the provincial government.
• Strong attention to detail
