- 5+ years of software testing experience on embedded platform

- Testing automation experience writing automated test scripts in Python from scratch

- Experience building and setting up CI/CD pipelines and working with tools such as Jenkins

- Experience with build infrastructure and setting up testing environments

- Experience working in Cloud environments or familiarity with GCP

Day-to-Day

An automotive employer is looking for several Python Automation Infrastructure/Build Test Engineers for the Architecture and Software Platform Team. The Architecture and Software Platform group is responsible for the software platform that enables connectivity and advanced application features within next generation of vehicles. Primary responsibilities will include developing and executing functional and integration test plans for all components owned by the Software Platform group. Automated test execution is a critical part of the overall test coverage which requires the candidate to have working knowledge of Python scripting. The candidate will work as part of a high performing team and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and solutions as part of their daily work. Any experience with networking knowledge, networking layers, or networking protocols is a huge asset.

This position is focused on coding and architectural skills where setting up the automation test framework is required. The ideal candidate should have experience deploying and CI/CD pipelines and have a strong understanding of infrastructure environment. You will be involved in daily release, migration and test execution in developing tools/libraries/various modules for the end client.
