Associate Project Manager - New Stores And Renovations

About the role The Associate Project Manager will provide support to the Project Management team that is responsible for construction projects with a dedicated client, with direct accountability for project delivery. Projects consist of both ground up and interior / exterior renovations of retail bank branches throughout the East Coast. This is a hybrid role and may require occasional visits to a local team office, preferred candidate should be located in one of the following locations: Greater New York City; Tampa, FL; West Palm Beach, FL; Washington, DC; or Chicago, IL What you’ll do Support Project Management team to manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout. Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Crafts action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule. May manage smaller projects as assigned. May manage third party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) and be responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members. What you’ll need Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of architectural, engineering or construction experience. AEC experience should include construction project management, owner's rep or project management experience. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills and the ability to optimally present information. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide efficient, timely, and courteous service to customers. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working understanding in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred. PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred. Why CBRE?
