Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual who is ready to take their career to the next level as an Assistant Pre-Owned Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the automotive industry and a desire to excel in a management position. Responsibilities:
  • Closing Deals: Utilize your exceptional negotiation and communication skills to finalize sales transactions with customers. Provide outstanding customer service, build relationships, and address any concerns or inquiries during closing.
  • Inventory Management: Implement effective strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensuring a diverse selection of pre-owned vehicles is available to meet customer demands. Monitor inventory turnover rates and collaborate with the sales team to maintain a well-balanced and profitable inventory mix.
  • Desking Deals: Assist in structuring deals for customers, including appraising trade-ins, determining financing options, and providing competitive pricing. Collaborate with the sales team to find creative solutions that meet both customer expectations and dealership objectives.
  • Purchasing Vehicles: Conduct research, evaluate market trends, and negotiate with suppliers to acquire quality pre-owned vehicles for our dealership. Utilize your keen eye for vehicles to identify and select inventory that aligns with our customer's needs and preferences.
  • Reconditioning: Oversee the reconditioning process of pre-owned vehicles, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for sale. Coordinate with the service department and external vendors to complete necessary repairs and enhancements efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry, particularly in pre-owned vehicle sales or management roles, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle purchasing, inventory management, and reconditioning processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with customers and working collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying market trends and opportunities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage inventory and administrative tasks.
