Mission: The commissioning and hand over of a complex project (large project size, complex technological systems or involving international companies) in accordance with the Contract Requirements, to the PM (client) for commercial operation


Accountabilities:


  • Monthly ,weekly and day to day planning for T&C activities and Coordination among subsystems ( based on availability of Subsystems ( under commissioning limitations apply on each one of them , resources and trains)
  • General support for the Commissioning team as needed with various day to day tasks
  • Assist with record retention and document controls for the project including test reports.
  • Assist with NCR(Non Conformances) Management and operational limitations management during T&C phase and tracking of open items.
  • Manage the commissioning test dashboards for all locations and interface with the field team to make sure all information provided is correct.
  • Coordinate and organize punch lists, inventory, work production plans for easy retrieval and documenting
  • Perform basic inventory control under the direction of Commissioning Manager.
  • Update spreadsheets and trackers on a daily basis.
  • NCR and operational limitations management during T&C phase.
  • Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Over all configuration management for all subsystems ( including Signaling ( CBTC, IXL and ATS), SCADA ( PS & BMS ), Telecom and security and power supply and traction power.
  • Software delivery schedule management for intermediate releases.
  • Provide administrative and operational clerical support to the Commissioning Management(Systems)
  • Execution of formal testing ( with customer ) arrangement, planning and availability of all pre-requisites to formal testing.
  • File and maintain written records along with crafting electronic copies for records


Required Skills/ Knowledge:


  • Detail oriented, with excellent problem solving skills, meticulous, upbeat, adept at succeeding in rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Email and Calendar systems, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills with high degree of integrity in both written and verbal communications
  • Knowledge of construction methods and standards used in the construction of railway systems.
  • Experience to perform the aforementioned accountabilities as dictated in section above and knowledge about the Commissioning


Education:


  • Bachelor of Science or technical degree required preferably in electrical, or systems engineering


Languages:


  • English- Native Language
