- Experience designing and implementing aquatic monitoring programs, analyzing and assessing biological and/or water quality data, and recommending appropriate courses of action
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or other software used to store, manipulate and analyze environmental data
- Degree in Biology, Fisheries, Ecology, Environmental Science or Natural Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and expierence may be considered.

- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical and non-technical information to a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written communication skills with experience writing clear and concise reports and correspondence
- Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize work activities to meet deadlines
- Experience conducting field work including collecting samples in a wide range of aquatic environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships with internal groups and external stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
