Reporting to the Project Foreman and the Project Manager, the Apprentice Millwright will work on varying projects and teams to complete new installations, maintenance, and repairs. This position will provide the apprentice with experience working in commercial and industrial buildings.

Key responsibilities include

• Travel to commercial and industrial client sites across the Lower Mainland;
• Proactively assess risks and develop plans to align with safety regulations;
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures;
• Install, troubleshoot, align and take apart industrial machinery and equipment (such as pumps, fans, ovens and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools);
• Completion of all paperwork as required.

The ideal candidate is someone who has completed their 2nd year Millwright Apprenticeship program and has experience working on commercial or industrial sites. You are someone who has a desire to grow and advance your career as an millwright through hands-on learning and mentorship. Our Must Haves

• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and has reliable transportation;
• Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear;
• Minimum 2nd year Millwright Apprenticeship;
• Experience working in the food, horticulture, or manufacturing industry will be considered an asset.
