We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our Forensics team for a four (4) month co-op term from September 2023 to December 2023. Successful candidates may be offered a full-time position upon graduation. Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
- Analyze financial data and participate in the development of independent expert financial reports and financial models
- Calculate and analyze economic loss claims, provide commercial advice, prepare financials and trace funds/accounts
- Execute client engagements assisting fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for a wide variety of clients, industries and disputes
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
- Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
- Assist with the development of project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- Completion of, or working towards a Forensic designation is considered an asset
- Previous advisory or consulting experience is considered an asset
- Completion of, or working towards a Degree in accounting
- Ability to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program is considered an asset
- Completion of, or working towards, a CPA designation or other Canadian accounting designation is considered an asset
