Accounts Payable Manager Jobs

Our client, located at Woodbridge, is urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This is a contract position of 2-3 months with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills and experience with system testing, preferably with AS400 or Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role will involve managing a team of 5-6 clerical AP data entry personnel and supporting the team with any AS400 and D365 issues. The Accounts Payable Manager will report directly to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and issue resolution for AS400 and D365 systems.
• Conduct system testing, preferably using AS400 or Microsoft Dynamics 365, to identify and resolve any issues.
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables, to analyze data and generate reports.
• Oversee the three-way match process for procurement, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Lead and supervise a team of 5-6 clerical AP data entry personnel, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Managing a team
• Strong system testing experience, preferably with AS400 or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation is a plus.
• Proven experience in people management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting and accounts payable.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables.
