Job Description

The District of Tofino is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Accounting Clerk. This is a full-time permanent role.


Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Accounting Clerk performs accounting work of moderate complexity which includes maintaining accounting records and creating journal entries.This position is required to exercise moderate independent judgement in carrying out job duties and will focus on accounts payable and corporate purchasing card processes, insurance, records management and support for the Office Assistant – Financial Services.
