MRB Engineer
Location: Mirabel, QC (Hybrid)
Job description:
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will build/develop dispositions to non-conformance materials, parts, assemblies, and systems!
Key responsibilities:
Investigate non-conformances reported by the quality group. Evaluate manufacturing deviation and its effect on the assembly!
Build engineering dispositions, supported by drawing/sketches and company/international standards.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Work with Engineering specialists such as Stress, M&P, and Aerodynamics.
Work with production and production support groups (Methods/Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics) to fix and resolve operational or engineering issues on aircraft.
Exchange information and collaborate with other sites to ensure sharing of technical knowledge. Mentor new MRB candidates through job training.
Required Skills
  • Desire and capability to acquire an Engineering MRB delegation after a period of on-the-job training.
  • Able to work autonomously and be a good teammate. Good command of the English language (written and spoken). Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
  • Knowledge in a design office (design or stress) of aircraft structures (Airframe). Good knowledge of CATIA V5 or similar CAD Software.
  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and mechanics of material, stress analysis, and composite materials.
  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of MRB/MAP experience in commercial / business aircraft or eight (8) years of design experience in Aerospace.
  • You are a person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of dedication, and can accept responsibilities while acting independently in a fast-paced partner/supplier environment. Must be proficient in MS Office.
